Georgia and Tom have just returned from a week in Salzburg, where they stayed at the private castle of Leopoldskron and made plans for our adventure next May. The Palace is an important historical landmark and is not open to the public. It was built as the summer home for the rulers of Salzburg in 1736. Mozart played here many times. In the twentieth century it was the scene of the true story escape of the von Trapp family (1938) and later (in 1961) served as the set for filming The Sound of Music. Next year it will be our home. Follow the links above to see what we've got planned.
