Golf

There are several golfers joining us in England and Jim Salestrom pointed out that the Belfry, one of the world's top ten golf courses is only ten minutes from New Hall Castle. Our friends at New Hall have made the arrangements for those in the group who want to play. There are three courses on 550 acres. The Brabazon, home of the Ryder Cub and the British open, the PGA national course, and the Derby, a more relaxed course which welcomes players of all levels. The green fees range from about $65 to $220 depending on the course and the level of the British pound, which is finally moving in our favor! Jim Salestrom and Phil Chapman have invited Ron Cerrudo, who will join our group for the first time. Ron was a member of the Walker cup team and finished second at the British amateur before turning pro and spending 12 seasons on the PGA tour. So this should be a great week of golf tips & golf talk for those with a passion for the game. Let us know, and we can arrange for tee times and transportfrom the castle. You could play any of the days that we are at the castle and still join in all the evening's fun and entertainments.
