Weather
It should be cool, autumn weather. We picked this week in hopes that we will arrive during the fall colors. In England rain is a possibility in any season, so come prepared.
Dress
We will be casual during the days and casually elegant at night. Men will want to wear a jacket in the castle during the evenings. For our big final event, plan on either a costume or Black Tie for gentlemen or a gown for the ladies. We have contracted with the costume company for the Renaissance Faire to make available a wide selection of costumes for you. These are included in the price of the trip and will be available for viewingstarting with our concert on the evening of April 11 at the Golden Gate Yacht Club.
What's included
All accommodations and group ground transportation while in England, including from Heathrow on October 17, and back to Heathrow on October 24. Breakfast, and dinner at the castle each day, and all lunches taken with the group on excursions. Great parties every night. Not included: Round trip air from the states and alcoholic beverages. (But we will include the wine and ale at our opening night gala and at our final great banquet).
Costs
The cost is $4,790 per person (double occupancy). There are some suites and singles available. These are available for a supplement. Let us know if you’d like an upgrade.
Deposit
A deposit of $2,000/person will hold you a place in this grand adventure.
Insurance / Cancellations
When you sign up, we will purchase travel insurance for you on your deposit. This will allow you to add full coverage later without the risk of being disqualified for “pre-existing conditions”. And it will cover your deposit if you have to cancel for a reason acceptable to the insurance company. As always, if there’s a waiting list and we can fill your spot we will make sure that you receive a full refund.
